Owner & Licensed Master BarberOwner and Founder of Fading Traditions Barber Shop. Apprenticed under Mr. Vern Smith — a 70-year-old barber in Griffin — for 6 years starting in 2002. Licensed Master Barber since 2006. Worked in 2 independent barber shops in Griffin, GA for 16 years before opening her own shop in a 500-square-foot location in Griffin in November 2018. Remodeled and moved to the current North Hill Street location in 2021. Trained her son Dillon to cut hair, and he is now training her niece Amanda — creating a three-generation family legacy.

Haircuts at Fading Traditions Barber Shop are walk-ins only — no appointment needed. Just stop by during business hours and one of our ten barbers will take care of you. We're open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. We're closed Wednesday and Sunday.
The only exception is hair color services, which require a phone appointment. Call us at (470) 810-2691 to schedule color work with our specialist. Saturday mornings tend to be our busiest — 20 to 30 people is common — so plan accordingly if you prefer a shorter wait.
We offer a full range of professional barbering and styling services for men, women, and children. Our menu includes classic men's haircuts, boys haircuts, flat tops, layered scissor cuts, skin fades, taper fades, military and regulation cuts, beard trims and grooming, straight razor shaves with hot lather, hot towel shaves, head shaves, and neck cleanups.
We also provide women's cuts and color, waxing, and professional hair color services from an internationally trained color specialist.

Owner Tammy Liles is a Licensed Master Barber who apprenticed for six years under a Griffin barber before spending another decade in independent shops.
We're also one of the few barber shops in the Griffin area that offers both classic barbering and professional salon-level color services under one roof. Add in three generations of family talent — Tammy, her son, and her niece all work side by side — and you've got a level of quality service you won't find anywhere else in Spalding County.
Fading Traditions Barber Shop is at 209 N Hill St, Griffin, GA 30223 — near the railroad tracks on North Hill Street.
